This year Bond Timber’s Open Day & Fencing Forum was held on Wednesday 20th March 2019.
A number of new and existing customers visited the site at Trerulefoot throughout the day to meet the team and learn more about the treatment and milling facilities offered.
In the evening Lonza (the manufacturers of Tanalith) gave a presentation about Tanalith treatment. Dr Mark Hull from Lonza discussed how Tanalith has developed in recent years and how species selection, accredited treatment facilities and trained operators is essential to ensure a tanalised product is produced to the British standard required. Throughout the evening many fencers and farmers had questions with regards to the vessel, how it works, how the treatment information is recorded and how Lonza and Bond Timber support customers.
