What an incredible few weeks our sponsored teams have had!

In the Bond Timber Cornwall Cricket League Tier 1 we see the bottom two meet in the Premier. After loosing their lead spot in week 8, we see Paul has managed to regained their leading spot. Although only 19 points cover the top five, so it is very close! Over in the premier league we see Penzance still holding the lead with St Austell following on behind.

Tamsyn had a great few days at the Royal Cornwall Show, her three young horses Lakefield beauty boy , popping candy and welcome candy kid, did incredibly well especially with the huge atmosphere at their biggest show to date. They  jumped so well in the 1.25 and 1.30 with just a few little green mistakes cost them placing.

Cardon Swimming Club had a great day at Penzance Leisure Centre. It was filled with very strong performances throughout the day with them finishing 4th, only 8 point between them and second place!

Congratulations to Jess for being ‘the dayviss group’ swimmer of the meet at the PL National Qualifier.
She had fantastic performances as a result of hard work in training, both in and out of the pool.

Cotehele Quay Gig Rowing Club went to the Rock regatta and saw the launch of the clubs summer racing campaign. Receiving solid results from all crews and a great building point for the rest of the season.

Tavistock Cricket Club see a few changes with in the players over the last week. Due to a lack of players in a recent match it cost them the win but not without putting in a strong effort, holding their own despite being down many players!  They have also been supporting Tavistock College Cricket team, mentoring and encouraging them to do their best.

Jarick took part in the Super one Championship,  round 5 and 6. His results were as follows

Saturday qualifying 1st

Heat one 1st place

Heat 2 Jarick was in second place with still 1 and half minutes of the race to go and had got right behind 1st place when his chain came off his engine which meant mechanical failure and couldn’t finish the race.

Therefore in the final he had to start 13th on the grid because of the mechanical failure but finished 3rd place in round 5 and also got top rookie driver trophy 🏆.

Sunday

Qualifying 1st place

Heat one 1st place

Heat 2 3rd place

The final started on pole in first place but was involved in a accident caused by another driver so sadly he didn’t get to finish.

This weekend he is taking part in the CPKC Championship round 5.
