The Par, St Blazey flood wall project is one started in November 2021. We crossed many obstacles along the way, from setting up through to the last couple changes.
The area of works was awarded to us after we had successfully completed projects with similar difficulty. The set up was a long process in itself, it consisted of removing fencing and trees and clearing vegetation.
The Redi Rock construction was complicated with careful engineering to ensure no voids were created. All 608 Redi Rock blocks were dropped off by tractor and trailer. Once we came near the end of the project a design change was made to construct a fence on top of the wall, we used our Bond Timber tanalised wood.
