Following the success in Devon and Cornwall of our 30-year ‘GOLD Standard’ treated fencing and timber products, we are looking to expand our list of stockists with the focus on Somerset.
Since 2009 we have been treating timber to achieve a 30-year ‘desired life’ standard following heavy investment at our yard near Saltash with all timber treated on-site in one of our two high pressure vacuum vessels. What makes our process so different is that the selected timber is air dried and then treated at a higher solution strength for up to 5 hours as opposed to the standard 1.5 hours, which results in a high uptake of preservative. Now, we are the only timber merchant in the UK to offer fencing stakes with a 30 year ‘service life’ approved by the Wood Protection Association.
We provide our stockists with marketing support and sales literature, whilst feeding leads generated via our own advertising in the fencing industry trade media and via our own website and social media activity.
We offer full training and a competitive margin to all stockists, and our current re-sellers hold stock of our 30-year treated fencing stakes and sawn timber.
