Al Bonds Padstow to Rock swim 2023
July 30th Alison is taking on Marie Curies charity swim event. Training has been underway in preparation to swim one mile from Padstow to Rock. As said by Marie Curie “We believe that everyday matters when you’re living with a terminal illness, we want people to be able to get the most from the time they have left. By fundraising for Marie Curie you will be helping our nurses to care for more people, whether thats giving them the chance to spend their last days at home with their loved ones, or receiving specialist round the clock care in one of our nine hospices.”
“How will your donation make a difference?
-£20 pays for one hour of vital nursing care for someone living with a terminal illness in their own home.
-£90 pays for an evening of nursing care for someone with a terminal illness at home, tending to their needs and giving respite to loved ones
-£180 provides nine hours of nursing support in someone’s home throughout the night, bringing the comfort and expertise families need.”
